Hibiscus Lady Nursery!

Mahalo for visiting our Hibiscus Lady website. We are working hard to bring even more fabulous hibiscus to you. We seem to run out rather quickly, so please check with us for availability! We update the site & add new selections about every month.
We try to update the SHOP page of our site every evening, so we encourage you to check out that page before scrolling through all of the pages. Thatʻs the most accurate way to see what we actually have in stock on any given day.
The plants for Oʻahu customers only are identified by their name followed by their database # - for example: KAMALU (56-21).
The plants which are certified to be shipped begin with a "C" followed by their database # and then their name - for example:
C56-21 KAMALU.
You can see all of our plants at once by clicking on the SHOP link.
Our address for plant pick-up for our Oʻahu customers is:
68-240 Mahinaai St.
Waialua, HI 96791
Phone: (808) 637-9995

Mahalo nui!!! We are delighted to be able to provide you with our beautiful hibiscus!
Each of our hibiscus have a hang tag attached that gives you information about that unique hibiscus.
Please note that on the back of these tags it reads: "We respectfully request that this plant NOT be reproduced for commercial resale without written permission from Jill Coryell, Hybridizer."
Why? We invest an enormous amount of hours and money in order to create our unique hibiscus cultivars. (We only select the best 3-5% of our seedlings to clone and sell, and the process can take 1-5 years per variety!)
So we ask that you respect us by not making easy money off of our hard work and investment. Of course you are welcome to use the plants you purchase from us in YOUR hybridizing journey! And naturally, the purpose of your Hibiscus Lady purchase is to bring you beauty and joy!!!

Aloha and Welcome to our Hibiscus Lady Nursery website!
We have been in business for a quarter of a century, and we are located on the North Shore of the island of Oʻahu. We are hybridizers, and 99% of the beautiful hibiscus that we sell were hybridized (created) right here at our nursery. They are 100% Hawaiʻi bred and born!
For our Oʻahu customers, we are generally open to the public from 9-4 Monday through Saturday. Itʻs a great idea to give us a call to let us know you want to come over: (808) 637-9995.
The majority of our customers live on the island of Oʻahu and about 90% of the nursery is for Oʻahu only. Weʻve recently become certified to ship to the neighbor islands and the U.S. mainland. The only plants that can be shipped have to spend their entire lives in the "Certified to Ship" portion of the nursery. On this website those plants begin with the letter "C" (certified) followed by their database #, and then by the name of the plant:
(i.e. C56-21 KAMALU) The plants that are only for Oʻahu customers begin with the plantʻs name, followed by their database #: (i.e. KAMALU 56-21). The 2 sections are not interchangeable, darn!
In any case, we hope that you enjoy browsing through our current selection of plants on our website! Enjoy our hibiscus and we wish you an abundance of beauty, of good health and of aloha!!!
Aloha!
I am thrilled to let you know that Hibiscus Lady Nursery is now re-opened! Our hours are 9-4 Monday through Saturday, closed all Sundays. Please give a quick call (not text) before coming over.
MANY thanks to Noble Brantley who tirelessly worked, organized and coordinated the clean up after the floods. MANY thanks also to the 25 volunteers who worked so hard to clean up all of the mud and debris...AND MANY thanks to all of you who checked to make sure the nursery and I were safe.
Because the hibiscus are on elevated benches, none of the plants were damaged, Mahalo ke Akua.
We look forward to your visit.
Aloha, Jill - Hibiscus Lady Nursery - 808 637-9995
GLOBAL WARMING
We do our best to be good caretakers of the ʻāina and to contribute as little as possible to global warming. Rather than spray pesticides in the air, we look at every leaf of your new plant, top and bottom, and remove all or part of any leaf that shows signs of pests or pest eggs. This insures that your new plant comes to you pest-free. If your new plant looks like itʻs lost some leaves, it is intentional on our part. They will grow back as new pest-free leaves before you know it!
