Hibiscus arnottianus - Kokiʻo Keʻokeʻo  

Kokiʻo Keʻokeʻo - Hibiscus arnottianus is native to the island of Oʻahu.  The beautiful 5" white flowers have a red stamen, and are often heavily scented.  This plant was used in early Hawaiian hybridizing.  It is highly recommended to tip prune the bush (always at an angle) as it will grow into a tree if left untended, especially at higher elevations.
