Bright and Joyous!

Hereʻs a bloom from our certified area today. Her name is Star of Gladness. She is the daughter of Barry Schlueterʻs Morgan Alyssa crossed by the endemic (native to Kauaʻi) hibiscus: Saintjohnianus, form yellow. Most of the time when I use the native Hawaiian reds, oranges, or yellows with a fancy modern hybrid, I end up with AMAZING color, and this blossom is a great example.
